A cement sleeve poured around the piling you already have
Snap Jackets are the toughest and most long-lasting option we offer for wooden dock pilings that are past wrapping. The process is simple, which makes it cost-friendly compared with pulling and replacing pilings: the jacket is installed without removing any of the structure above the piling, with no barge, and your dock is protected for years to come.
Once the Snap Jacket is snapped around the piling and closed, the cement is poured in and every marine organism damaging the piling is immediately killed. The cement fills the void between the jacket and the piling and sets into a new sleeve around it. Snap Jackets work on slightly warped or hollowed pilings all the way to pilings that are completely separated, and once installed the piling ends up stronger than before.

Why Snap Jackets
No barges, no dock demolition
Snap Jackets are installed in place, without removing any of the structure above the piling. Permit needs vary by city and county; we check what yours requires before the work is scheduled.
Cement poured in place
Once the jacket is snapped around the piling and closed, the void is filled with concrete, and every marine borer in the wood is killed.
A new sleeve around the piling
The concrete fills the space between the jacket and the piling and sets into a new sleeve. The manufacturer's warranty is 25 years.

UV-protected PVC jacket

The annulus is cleared before the pour so the concrete bonds to the wood from the mudline up.
Restores strength
